Uvicorn Uvicorn is a lightning-fast "ASGI" server. Dockerizing a whole physical Linux server. Leveraging Django Rest Framework and generic views for rapid API development. Build a PWA with push notifications thanks to Vue.js and Django.

Htmx and Django for Single Page Applications. Docker image with Uvicorn managed by Gunicorn for high-performance FastAPI web applications in Python 3.6 and above with performance auto-tuning. tiangolo/uvicorn-gunicorn-fastapi-docker. tiangolo/uvicorn-gunicorn-fastapi:python3.7. Note: There are tags for each build date.If you need to "pin" the Docker image version you use, you can select one of those tags. Next, we import FastAPI class from fastapi module and create its object that we call, app.

uvicorn: This includes a Gunicorn worker class allowing you to run ASGI applications, with all of Uvicorn's performance benefits, while also giving you Gunicorn's fully-featured process management.!pip install fastapi nest-asyncio pyngrok uvicorn. (Uvicorn does not : ( ) Why and how we ditched Django Channels to build a scalable chat backend. Recently, however, I have been using Hypercorn as it supports trio out of the box. Uvicorn has really nice debugging capabilities, but Hypercorn has solid http/3 support. Meinheld: Overall, acceptable performance, but it struggled as simultaneous connections. mod_wsgi: An average performance, even at higher concurrences. As Flask is developed for WSGI services like Gunicorn, it doesn't offer native async support.Gunicorn: A consistent, good performer. FastAPI can also be considered a better option due to its auto scaling feature.

It performs 100 times better than Flask in any given situation. FastAPI is well known to be the fastest python web framework. It's been performing like a champ for me in production for the better part of a year. IMHO, Gunicorn provides a good balance between performance and usability. Like uWSGI, Gunicorn supports different worker types. Interestingly I've decided to approach this from the other. The main reason for the performance issues was all the blocking IO from the ORM, which previously had all been monkey patched with gevent / eventlet. Doubling the cost of infrastructure to use get_asgi_application with gunicorn asgi:app -k uvicorn.UvicornWOrker, just isn't doable.
